facebook!

who's catching who?

Wow..where to start?! This is a photo from the adventure I had with Sarah Ann Loreth Photography, Brian Oldham Photography and David Talley | Photography. Sarah came down from New Hampshire to LA! After I heard she was hanging out with some other photographers I jumped on the band wagon to meet everyone :)

I've never met with other conceptual photographers before, so it was refreshing to talk about similar things. We all had a blast...and are all probably very sore from hiking up jagged cliffs lol...

Not my usual style of shooting. I didn't even intend to shoot that day so I had no concept or props prepared! I just used what I could on the fly. This is a combination of 3 different exposures all shot on scene :)

p.s. to catch that starfish brian and I got destroyed by this wave....but it was worth it!

Model: Brian

Assistants: Sarah and David

Enjoy!

Fishing the Antigravity Shores is a challenge, so listen up.

First off: bait. You may think you know what's biting, what they want, but here things are... different. You might be tempted to use your favorites -- night crawlers, meal worms, those nasty scented lures from Bass Pro Shop -- but instead consider the lowly indigenous Inch Worm. Around here they can grow to a meter, so use care with selection. But I think you'll be delightfully surprised.

Nextly, it's important to secure yourself before casting. Many newbs make this mistake and we end up having to fish them out of the time/space continuum. Very unpleasant for all involved. Just make sure to use the velcro anchors provided and you'll be fine.

Finally, a word about catch-and-release. We take that very seriously here. NOTHING you land should be removed from the Shores, or reality destabilization will occur. And god help you if you plan to eat anything caught here. Just don't. Last thing you need is molecules of fish disappearing from your cortex a week from now.

Now get out there and fish your brains out!

Whoops, poor choice of words.
