Hey all!!

Feels great to be creating again, even though, it is so stressful for me at times, lol. I love/hate that I get some of the ideas I have. This shot was so complicated. I ran into a lot of problems x_x. In the end, it finally came together close enough to what I had in mind. My wife and I sandwiched the matches in between two pieces of masking tape, then flattened the tape onto my spine. Luckily, it wasn't horribly windy at the beach because we were behind some cliffs, but lighting them was still hard. And the ash is flour mixed with charcoal. Not to mention I had cut off some of my finger earlier...which I had to go to urgent care for after the shoot...so that was painful to work with! lol. A huge thanks to my wife for putting up with my perfectionism <3

The concept is a lot like my other themes of relating to escape, but this time its more escaping from my old self and being reborn. Thank you to all of my friends who push to continue creating <3
